Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) welcomes the first group of Hajj Pilgrims 1437H/2016M from the Holy Land at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Dato’ Badlisyah Abdul Ghani Deputy Chief Executive Officer TH attended the event on behalf of TH Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer and as well as other TH management.

This first group departed with Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV 5644) from Raja Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 9.30 pm (Saudi time zone) and arrived on Sunday September 18, 2016 at 11.21 am (Malaysia time zone) at KLIA.

YBhg. Dato’ Badlisyah and TH management team welcomed and congratulated all the Hajj Pilgrims for the successful completion of Hajj and come home safely. They were also received welcomes by the family members at the Arrival Hall. 

According to Dato’ Badlisyah Abdul Ghani, he is grateful that this year hajj operation went smooth without any incidents. He also thanked to the hajj pilgrims’ family members and all Malaysians who always pray for the safety of the hajj pilgrims.

Appreciation also given to the Saudi Arabia for the proactive cautions especially in safety aspect for all hajj pilgrims around the world.

TH will conduct a post-mortem session in order to review all feedbacks received on hajj operation and to improve all the weaknesses in the future. TH Hajj Operation is scheduled to end with the arrival of the last group of pilgrims at KLIA on 15 October 2016.
