MELAKA, December 22, 2020 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over TH Zakat amounting to RM2,797,897.60 for the financial year ended 2019 to Zakat Melaka in a ceremony at Dewan Seri Utama, in the Office of the T.Y.T Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka.

T.Y.T Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka is pleased to receive the zakat contribution from Tuan Haji Mohamed Zahir bin Hussin @ Yusof, State Director of TH Melaka.

TH hopes that the zakat contribution can be utilized by Zakat Melaka towards the sustainability of zakat programs designed in the state of Melaka for the economic sustainability of the asnaf group, he added.

Also present at the ceremony were YAB Datuk Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Sulaiman bin Md Ali; Chief Minister of Melaka, Datuk Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Fadzil; Chief Executive Office of Zakat Melaka, State Deputy Director of TH Melaka, Zakat Melaka officers and TH staff members.
