Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today presents its education zakat totalling RM125,000 to 14 selected school in the “ Majlis Sumbangan Program Iqra” at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Mohd Taha, Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan.

This event was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Adi Azuan Abdul Ghani, TH Chief Operating Officer and also attended by YBrs. Tuan Haji Hamzah Abu, Tampin Education Officer, selected schools’ headmasters, Teachers and TH Staff.

Two hundreds and fifty students received school supplies worth RM 200 and cash worth RM 300 each. TH hopes this contribution will motivate students to excel in their studies.

Iqra’ program is one of the TH CSR Programs and for this year, TH has distributed its education zakat worth RM 2 million to 4,000 students from 178 schools.
