About CSR
TH shares its success with stakeholders through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This is our celebration of Islamic principles and TH’s commitment to stand as a solicitous organization with the mission to increase the ummah's socio-economic status in Malaysia.
TH CSR activities have empowered thousands of our stakeholders nationwide in line with our aspiration to share our successes with the people.
TH CSR programs are divided into two (2) categories which are CSR Zakat Programmes and Contributions.
CSR Policy
This policy set our guidelines and functions of TH’s CSR. This guideline also serves to underline and emphasise the corporate responsibility principles that should be supported by members of all levels including the Management and the Lembaga, towards achieving a business practice that is run with transparency, integrity, responsibility and sustainability, and provides positive impact throughout the community and the stakeholders.
Policy Statement
TH supports and adopts the concept of Enhancing and Sustaining Life in our corporate responsibility approach.
TH is committed to contribute towards its stakeholders’ sustainable development especially for its entire staff members, Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims, Depositors and Muslim Community from the poor asnafs, the disabled and the underprivileged community without any disregard on integrity, work ethics, community, social, economy and environment.
This commitment is translated through an aspiration to realise TH’s Vision and Mission by instilling strong determination and commitment towards daily operations and special programmes planned at both staff and management level.
TH also strives to increase awareness and understanding amongst all its members through Tabung Haji Act 1995 (Act 535), Disciplinary Regulations, TH’s Integrity Policies, Financial Authority Manual and Office’s Management and Governance Manual, as guidance in carrying out daily activities and processes.
TH assumes the corporate responsibility as:
- Strategic methods in contributing positively towards its operational success;
- As part of continuous initiative in building positive image through general public’s confidence and trust especially by the Muslim community towards TH; and
- As part of continuous effort in creating camaraderie amongst its staff members while inculcating pride and commitment towards TH.
