KUANTAN, 2 September 2020 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat TH amounting to RM4,715,801.28 for the financial year ended 2019 to the Pahang Islamic Religious Council (MUIP) in a ceremony held in Istana Abdul Aziz, Bukit Istana, Kuantan, Pahang.

His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah, YDP of the Pahang Islamic Religious Council has accepted the payment of TH Zakat from Puan Hajah Musalimah bt Mustaffa, Director of TH Pahang. The zakat payment for the State of Pahang recorded an increase in comparison to 2018 (RM4,597,045.24).

The ceremony, which was held in full compliance with the SOP set by the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health Malaysia was also attended by YAM Tengku Panglima Raja Leftenan Kolonel Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, TYDP of Islamic Religious Council Pahang, YH Dato 'Ahmad Hairi bin Hussain, Secretary of the Pahang Islamic Religious Council and guests from several other agencies.
