TaHa Bestari 2025 Rhythmic Speech Competition
Participation Criteria
The TaHa Bestari 2025 Rhythmic Speech Competition is open to members of the Kelab TaHa Bestari who meet the following criteria:
- Must have Tabung Haji (TH) account.
- Aged between 13 to 17 years old.
- Must have made at least one savings transaction in the TH account in 2025.
- Must be a secondary school student, with participation submitted through the school and with parental consent.
- Submission must be in the form of a video uploaded via the official entry form. Finalist teams are required to attend and perform physically at a venue and date determined by the organiser.
1.1 Theme of the Rhythmic Speech
All rhythmic speech presentations must adhere to the official theme: "One Savings, A Thousand Blessings"
1.2 Participation Video
- Video duration must be between 5 to 7 minutes.
- Each uploaded video must include the presentation title.
- Video format must be in HD (minimum resolution 1080 x 1920 px), aspect ratio 16:9, and in MP4 format.
- Each team must complete the official registration form at: https://forms.gle/Y6CfYtsPPbynLP476
- Students must upload the video to their YouTube account and ensure that the video is set to ‘Unlisted’. Submit the video link in the participation form
1.3 Rules & Regulations
1.3.1 General Rules
- Each team must consist of 15 to 25 participants, led by a conductor. Reserve members may be included.
- Team members must be of the same gender.
- Scripts or notes are not allowed during the performance.
- Team arrangement must not exceed three rows.
1.3.2 Language Usage
- The entire performance must be conducted in Bahasa Melayu.
- The use of Arabic is allowed but only as a supplementary element.
1.4 Content & Theme Guidelines
- Content must reflect Islamic values and principles in daily life.
- The presentation should raise awareness on the importance of saving and Islamic financial management, delivered creatively.
- Content must be educational and must not include any controversial or sensitive elements related to religion, race, culture, politics, or personal matters.
1.5 Creativity & Performance
- Teams are free to plan their movements, voice intonation, and style, provided they do not disrupt other participants.
- Singing, shariah compliant dance, poetry, and other creative elements are encouraged and will be taken into account in judging.
- The use of musical instruments or pre-recorded audio is not allowed, unless approved by the organiser.
- Mimicking sounds or voices that may offend any ethnic, cultural, or religious group is strictly prohibited.
- Props, backdrops, or supporting materials including printed, electronic, or written items are not allowed.
- Entrance to the stage must be non-performative.
Stationary movement is allowed during the performance.
1.6 Attire & Conduct
- Participants must wear modest, neat, shariah compliant, and appropriate attire.
- Clothing must not display any symbols or images that are non-compliant with shariah or that may offend religious, racial, or cultural sensitivities.
Video Production Requirements
The video production requirements are as follows:
- The video must clearly show all team members, including the conductor (rear view of conductor is acceptable).
- Videos must be recorded continuously from start to finish, with no cuts or edits. Edited videos or those containing cuts will be disqualified.

Prizes
Finalist teams shortlisted from the video submission round will be invited to compete in the final round. Finalists are required to perform live at the location and date set by the organiser. Prizes for winners are as follows:
- First Place – RM1,000 cash + certificate
- Second Place – RM800 cash + certificate
- Third Place – RM600 cash + certificate
- Fourth Place – RM500 cash + certificate
- Fifth Place – RM400 cash + certificate
Submission Deadline
- The submission deadline is 22 August 2025, at 12:00 PM.
- Entries received after the deadline will be considered ineligible.
- Finalist teams are required to be present physically for the final competition, on a date and at a location determined by the organiser.
