Contributions
Every year, TH spends a significant amount of budget non-zakat CSR initiatives with the objective to share the milestones with our stakeholders which we have achieved due to their support and trust. Contributions are channeled to various areas such as education, health and sports; among others.
Hajj Financial Support
TH's biggest and most significant CSR investment is the annual provision of Hajj Financial Support for first time Muassasah Hajj Pilgrims. The Hajj Financial Support has helped to cap the pilgrims’ hajj payment at RM10,980 (Group B40) and RM12,980 (Non-B40 Group) despite the increase of the actual hajj cost each year.
Since 2001, the Hajj Financial Support contributed towards this subsidy as an effort to safeguard the welfare Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims. The Hajj Financial Support covers hajj pilgrimage operating costs in Malaysia and the Holy Land. Additionally, TH allocates a substantial budget for hajj support operations, that includes hajj guidance, medical and financial services as well as hajj personnel services.
Tabung Was'ul Khair Tetamu Allah
TH via 'Tabung Was'ul Khair Tetamu Allah' initiative is intended to finance part of the total payment for pilgrims who meet all application requirements and are selected for hajj pilgrimage but facing financial difficulties to pay for their hajj.
The fund’s main source of funding is through donations from TH and other individuals.
Kelab TaHa
Kelab TaHa was established on April 10th, 2008, and was rebranded on March 13th, 2021, providing automatic memberships to all junior depositors aged 17 and below. The rebranding purpose was to provide all TH junior depositors a chance to enjoy the benefits from Kelab TaHa programs and encourage them to start saving at an early age. This will put them on the right footing for more fruitful future financial planning and could possibly enable them a chance to perform the pilgrimage at a young age. In addition, Kelab TaHa members also may benefit from programs and activities throughout the year. Among the activities are Examination Seminars, English Camps and Motivational Camps.
These camps served to inculcate good values and increase their educational competency and improve their academic excellence. English Camps are also organised to help TaHa members improve their grasp of the English language.
Examination Seminars are sponsored and are fully funded by TH in our mission to improve the students’ academic performance. On top of academic excellence, these activities also provide character-building modules to nurture talents of high caliber in the community.
