This appeal form is one of TH's efforts in improving efforts to standartise and enhance the hajj appeal process for pilgrims who wish to perform the hajj.
Payment for first-time pilgrims and those who are successful with their appeal remains at RM9,980 as in previous years. However, similar to all selected pilgrims for the current year, for successful appeal cases they can also choose to voluntarily pay the full cost of RM22,900 for Muassasah pilgrimage by stating the option in their hajj appeal forms.
No. Approved hajj appeals will not be cancelled if the appellant chooses to pay RM9,980. Just like in previous years, TH has been giving the Muassasah Pilgrims the option to pay the full Haj pilgrimage cost. And if they do not choose to pay in full, the pilgrimage stays at RM9,980.
Completed forms may be submitted on their own or through a representative to any TH branch office.
How much is the cost of hajj for the pilgrim who has been selected the second time to go to perform the hajj?
As in the previous years, the pilgrim who has been selected the second time to go to perform the hajj will pay a total cost of RM22,900.
Yes, TH depositors who have signed up for hajj and are still waiting for their turn to arrive can appeal for hajj.
I have read a viral information on social media that the hajj fee for the hajj appeal is at the full cost of hajj? Is that true?
Not true. Successful pilgrims are given the option of voluntarily choosing whether to pay in full or RM9,980 as in the previous years.
All appeals received will be given due consideration before any decision is made.
If the appellants are a husband and wife, does both of them need to fill out separate forms or can they fill one out together?
The appellants are required to fill out individual appeal forms even though they are husband and wife. The hajj appeal applications can be submitted jointly and personally or through a representative to any TH office or branch.
Preference will be given to those who appeal to accompany a mahram, the elderlies, their companions and those who have been chosen for hajj in the previous year but have to postpone it. Consideration is also given to those whose turn to perform the hajj is the following year (Example: The current year is 1441H / 2020M, while the hajj cash year is 1442H / 2021M).
