
KUANTAN, 28 June – The Al-Falah MADANI Carnival in Indera Mahkota served as a platform for uniting the ummah, rejecting extremist ideologies, and upholding an understanding of Islam that fosters love and harmony.
The three-day carnival, organised by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), began last Friday and was held at Masjid Jamek Beserah in conjunction with Maal Hijrah. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Dato’ Setia Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar.
Also present was YBrs Tuan Haji Mustakim Mohamad, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tabung Haji (TH), along with heads of agencies under the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs).
TH Pahang representatives also participated by setting up a mobile service counter throughout the carnival.
