SARAWAK, October 11, 2025 – Tabung Haji (TH) has been honoured with the Diamond-Level Philanthropy Partner Award by Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in a ceremony held in Kuching, Sarawak.

The recognition was awarded in appreciation of TH’s strong commitment and efforts in supporting higher education through the Program Iqra’ TH IPTA, which has benefitted asnaf students at UNIMAS with a total contribution of RM1.1 million for the period of 2023 to 2025.

The award was presented by YBhg. Professor Dr. Ahmad Hata bin Rasit, Vice Chancellor of UNIMAS, to YBhg. Datuk Nurlaila binti Haji Said, Regional Director for Sabah and Sarawak.

TH remains committed to playing an active role in assisting asnaf communities and students in need, empowering them to achieve academic excellence and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation in the future.
