KUALA LUMPUR, 26 NOVEMBER 2025: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today contributed two units of 4x4 ambulances to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) to enhance their emergency response and humanitarian support capabilities nationwide, particularly in high-risk and hard-to-reach areas.

This zakat wakalah contribution from TH, valued at RM570,000, reflects TH’s continued commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts and disaster preparedness, in line with its role in safeguarding the welfare of the ummah.

The ambulances will strengthen MRCS’ ability to access remote areas, hilly terrains, flood-affected locations, and disaster zones that conventional ambulances cannot reach. This enhanced capability will enable MRCS medical teams to deliver timely first-response treatment, especially during critical, life-saving moments.
